Fair Connections helps to support friendship links between schools in the UK and Nepal
The two main schools working with Fair Connections are Grange Over Sands Primary School and St Michaels in the Hamlet. Both of these schools have friendship schools in Kasi District, Nepal through the Pahar Trust.
Fair Connections has also begun to support St Vincents School in Liverpool that has a link with the Blind School in Dharan. 'The Adventures of Fairis a Nepal Frog' is currently being translated into braille to make the book accessible to children with visual impairments.
The British Council has a Connecting Classrooms programme that offers support and funds to help develop meaningful relations between schools in the UK and globally. Both Grange Over Sands and St Vincents have Connecting Classroom awards.
Their experiences will be shared here in the near future. If you are interested in connecting with a school in Nepal then please email us at Fair Connections firstname.lastname@example.org.
